Web Usage Policy

WEB USAGE POLICY

  1. Website Acceptable Use Policy

This acceptable use policy explains the terms between you and us that govern the way you may access and use our website (our site). It applies to every visitor to, and user of, our site.

By using our site you accept these terms and agree to follow every part of this acceptable use policy, which works alongside our terms of website use.

Prohibited uses

You may only use our site for purposes that are lawful. You must not use our site:

In any manner that breaks any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.

In any manner that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that has any unlawful or fraudulent aim or effect.

With the intention of harming, or trying to harm, minors in any way.

To send, deliberately receive, upload, download, use or reuse any material that does not meet our content standards.

To transmit, or arrange the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material, or any other kind of similar solicitation (spam).

To knowingly transmit any data, or to send or upload any material that carries viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar code built to damage the working of any computer software or hardware.

You also agree:

Not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or resell any part of our site in breach of the terms set out in our terms of website use.

Not to access without permission, interfere with, damage or disrupt:

any part of our site;

any equipment or network on which our site is stored;

any software used in providing our site;

any equipment, network or software owned or used by any third party.

Interactive services

From time to time we may offer interactive services on our site, including, but not limited to:

Chat rooms.

Bulletin boards.

Customer Gallery

Blog Comments Section

(interactive services).

Wherever we offer any interactive service, we will give you clear information about the type of service provided, whether it is moderated, and what form of moderation is used (including whether it is carried out by people or by technology).

We will do our best to assess any possible risks to users (and especially to children) posed by third parties who use any interactive service on our site, and in each case we will decide whether it is appropriate to moderate the relevant service (and what kind of moderation to apply) in view of those risks. We are, however, under no duty to supervise, monitor or moderate any interactive service we provide on our site, and we expressly exclude our liability for any loss or damage arising from a user's use of any interactive service in breach of our content standards, whether or not the service is moderated.

Use of any of our interactive services by a minor is subject to the consent of their parent or guardian. We recommend that parents who allow their children to use an interactive service talk to their children about staying safe online, since moderation is not foolproof. Minors using any interactive service should be made aware of the potential risks to them.

Where we do moderate an interactive service, we will normally give you a way to contact the moderator should any concern or difficulty arise.

Content standards

These content standards apply to any and all material you contribute to our site (contributions) and to any interactive services connected with it.

You must respect both the spirit and the letter of the following standards. They apply to each part of any contribution as well as to the whole of it.

Be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person.

Suspension and termination

We will decide, at our discretion, whether your use of our site has breached this acceptable use policy. Where a breach has occurred, we may take whatever action we consider appropriate.

Failure to comply with this acceptable use policy is a material breach of the terms of use under which you are allowed to use our site, and may lead us to take any or all of the following actions:

Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our site.

Immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any posting or material you have uploaded to our site.

We may revise this acceptable use policy at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to note any changes we make, as they are legally binding on you.
